Dear members, partners and colleagues,
As we look back on 2023, we continue to be inspired by the dedicated work you are leading in natural areas around the world, advancing sustainable tourism practices in many different ways.
This year has been marked as a continued transition period for our organisation, as we have just officialised our merger with Ö.T.E. in Germany and will have our first AGM in January 2024. This has not stopped us from:
- Being active as a board advocating for our cause
- Speaking at a UNTWO event on “ocean action for a new zero future”
- Hosting a side event with African Examples providers
- Peter publishing a highly endorsed book on his 50 years of experience along the East Atlantic Flyway
- Listing new LT&C Examples from Slovakia and Colombia
- Actively working on three sustainable tourism projects in Europe
- Forming new partnerships with likeminded organisations
- Reviewing our LT&C Examples
- Providing updates in our monthly newsletter.
