Currently I am looking for a job opportunity in which I can complement initiatives, projects and teams preferably in North or East Europe, finding sustainable solutions for today’s global challenges.

I am a tourism professional with a BBA in Tourism Management and international work experience. I chose this field of study with the clear mission to use tourism as a tool for nature conservation and education, sustainable development of a diversified economy and education among people from different cultural backgrounds.

In my specialisation course  ‘Community Based Tourism’, in cooperation with the Community Based Tourism Institute in Thailand, I was involved with research, capacity building, facilitating market and stakeholder linkages. Further experiences from projects together with the Qatar Green Building Council, running educational excursions for nature conservation for school students with the first eco-tour operator in Qatar, co-founding a tourism startup in the Arab Region and initiating a grass-roots sustainability organisation in Germany fueled my passion about using tourism as a tool for sustainable development.

Recent trips to Nepal, Oman, Iran and North Thailand let me experience challenges of desertification, scarcity of drinking water and consequences of natural disasters. Thus, I have a strong urge to further learn and act for a diverse and healthy planet earth.
