is Vice-Chair of the Board of WWF Finland and Co-Founder of LT&C. She has a long history in linking tourism and conservation, having been involved already in the 1990s when the WWF Arctic Programme developed Arctic tourism guidelines. Those WWF-guidelines once have been published in all Arctic languages under the name Linking Tourism and Conservation in the Arctic. For several years Heidi Andersson sponsored the annual Arctic Award for Best Link Between Tourism and Conservation (see also the minutes of the WWF-workshops 2000 in Borgarnes/Iceland and 2001 in Juneau/Alaska).
